Part 3 of 4; Special Guest Interview with Sis. Charonda Johnson. Charonda Johnson is the founder of "Warriors Are Restored Facebook Prayer Group"
In this segment you will hear how Mrs. Johnson built was healed by God, she received validation by a Senator whom she worked for. He told her that you are sick because I sent you to Iraq. He made sure that she had everything that she needed to recover from the “battle scars” of combat. Her claims were being denied by the VA but she made it through. This caused her to be wheelchair bound. She admits that she struggled with her faith. She admits that her family would speak faith to her and her mother would tell her that she was going to be a testimony but she would become angry at them in her head. She offers how she really felt. It was bad.
In her mind, she did not have a miraculous healing. She tells of a powerful choir rehearsal where the power of God showed up and she tells how God moved on the whole church a couple of days later. She came down out of the choir stand on 2 canes and went to the altar. She was shaken by the power of God and when all was said and done, she left the altar without those canes. Sounds like a miracle to me. Her story of God’s triumph over her physical illness will lift you high. But the Lord was not finished He wanted to heal her of her mental illness as well. She received prayer at another service, and they prayed for her neurons to be shifted. She went home that night and slept. This was a miracle because prior to that she could not sleep and exist without pain
The awesome thing is that she was not clinical in her approach. She sought connection through empathy. Which is a method that Jesus uses all the time. She sought God for a way to give them Jesus. She was healed and learned to cope with her own struggles, which by the way did not stop after she left military service. She has been there; she has gone through with Jesus and this connection brings hope. Her life is not perfect, but she went through the process. She shares on how a dear friend committed suicide. She was deeply impacted by this and it helped her see that warriors need to be helped.
She never complained, she doesn’t take credit because her life is a testimony to the grace of God. She leans upon Romans 8: 31 – 32. Listen in as she discusses her life and struggles.
